Proverbs 24:19-20 Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of the wicked, for the evil man has no future hope, and the lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.
Do not become angry or envious of the wicked’s apparent prosperity.
Many misunderstand the wicked’s earthly prosperity. Scripture warns the righteous not to desire it.
The wicked have no lasting future; their earthly pleasure is brief.
On resurrection day, the righteous will receive eternal life with the Lord, while those who rejected Him will be cast into the lake of fire with the devil and his demons.
This aligns with the scripture learned in Proverbs13:13 “The one who despises the word will be in debt to it, but the one who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”
