Proverbs 22:10 Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insults are ended.
This Proverbs speaks for itself. Another word for mocker is ridiculer. I know when certain people don’t show up for work or miss meeting or gathering, it changes the entire temperature of the atmosphere. It just takes one person to stir up strife. I think we all can relate to this.
Under Gods Command
John 4:13-15 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. The woman said to him, “Sir give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
The woman mistakenly believed that if she received the water Jesus offered, she would not have to return to the well each day. She was interested in Jesus message because she thought it could make her life easier. But if that were always the case, people would accept Christ’s message for the wrong reasons. Christ did not come to take away Challenges, but to change us on the inside and to empower us to deal with problems from God’s perspective.

Many spiritual functions parallel physical functions. As our bodies hunger and thirst, so do our souls. But our souls need spiritual food and water. The woman confused the two kinds of water, perhaps because no one had ever talked with her about her spiritual hunger and thirst before. We would not think of depriving our bodies of food and water when they hunger of thirst. Why then should we deprive our souls? The living word, Jesus Christ, and the written Word, the Bible can satisfy our hungry and thirsty souls.

Proverbs 19:16 – He who obeys instructions guards his life, but he who is contemptuous of his ways will die.
The instructions we are told to obey are those found in God’s Word-both the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20) and other passages of Instruction. To obey what God teaches in the Bible is self-preserving. To disobey is self-destructive.

John 4:7-9 – When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”(His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?”(For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
This woman (1) was a Samaritan, a member of the hated mixed race (2) was known to be living in sin, and (3) was in a public place. No respectable Jewish man would talk to a woman under such circumstances, But Jesus did. The gospel is for every person, no matter what his or her race, social position, or past sins. We must be prepared to share the gospel at any time and in any place. Jesus crossed all barriers to share the gospel, and we who follow him must do no less.

Proverbs 18.02 – A fool fins no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions.
Wisdom and truth are not important to a fool; he is more interested in his own thoughts. When understanding and his opinions have a collision, he always follows his heart. He loves his own thoughts and desires, and he wants to tell and promote them as widely as possible. Here is the basic error of the fool – he values his opinions and preferences more than truth. He is in love with himself, obsessively so. And he is always seeking an audience to share his thoughts. This folly is widely promoted today, the perilous times of the last days, when men love their own selves and reject sound doctrine (II Tim 3:1-2; 4:2-4).

John 3:36 – Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”
Jesus says that those who believe in him have (not will have) everlasting life. To receive eternal life is to join in God’s life, which by nature is eternal. Thus, eternal life begins at the moment of spiritual rebirth.

Under Gods Command Proverbs 17:01 – Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.
It is nice to get off at times and be by yourself. How many of us married folk don’t take time out for each other because of the distractions of this world, friends, work, kids, pets, in-laws and cell phone. Sometime we need to send the kids off, get rid of the pets, turn the cell phone off, cut the in-laws out for a while, and go take a ride somewhere just to get some quietness and rest. If it’s just going out on the patio, or going for a walk, tell your spouse to “Come on out here, and let’s sit down together and get acquainted with each other. Some of us been married for a long time, and it’s time we get re-acquainted. It’s a good thing for us to do. God wants us to have times like that. They are very important for our spiritual refreshment.

John 3:30 He must become greater; I must become less
John’s willingness to decrease in importance shows unusual humility. Pastors and other Christian leaders can be tempted to focus more on the success of their ministries than on Christ. Beware of those who put more emphasis on their own achievements than on God’s Kingdom.

Proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.
We want other people to like us, and sometimes we will do almost anything to win their approval. But God tells us to put our energy into pleasing him instead. Our effort to be peacemakers will usually make us more attractive to those around us, even our enemies. But even if it doesn’t, we haven’t lost anything. We are still pleasing God, the only one who truly matters.
