Running for President requires two candidates to tell what they did, what they are going to do by making a bunch of Promises that most of the time they can not keep. There is one more candidate that has done some impossible things in the past that you can read about, makes promises that will never be broken, and will lead you into eternity. Jesus Christ is running for King Ship in your life. He is waiting for you to vote for Him to be the Savior in your life. What he has to offer is far better then what any man can offer as President or any other Political Position. I voted and accepted Him as King in my life, and He is still in Office today, and will be forever.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your Heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.

Under Gods Command

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

How could the Corinthian believers ignore God’s message (“receive God’s grace in vain”)? Perhaps they were doubting Paul and his words, confused by the false teachers, who taught a different message. The people heard God’s message but did not let it affect what they said and did. How often does God’s message reach you in vain?

God offers salvation to all people. Many people put off a decision for Christ, thinking that there will be a better time—but they could easily miss their opportunity altogether.

Lets Bring it Home: There is no time like the present to receive God’s forgiveness. Don’t let anything hold you back from coming to Christ. The right time is now!

Under Gods Command
More than Conquerors

Romans 8:29-30 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the first born among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Some believe these verses mean that before the beginning of the world, God chose certain people to receive his gift of salvation. They point to verses like Ephesians 1:11 that says we are “predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.” Others believe that God foreknew those who would respond to him and upon those he set his mark (predestined). What is clear is that God’s purpose for people was not an afterthought; it was settled before the foundation of the world. People are to serve and honor God. If you have believed in Christ, you can rejoice in the fact that God has always known you; God’s love is eternal. His wisdom and power are supreme. He will guide and protect you until you one-day stand in his presence.

Lets Bring it Home: What is God’s purpose for you, or are you living out his purpose? If not, what is getting in your way from you doing God’s will in your life?
